Stay Anonymous Using a Proxy

There are many ways to search the web without being tracked back to your computer. The most common way is by using a proxy server.

Different Types of Proxies:
Transparent: When you use this type of proxy it announces it is a proxy and tells them you I.P. Essentially making it useless for privacy.
Anonymous: When you use this kind of proxy it will replace your I.P. with a different one but the website knows you are using a proxy.
Elite: When you use this proxy it has the same benefits of anonymous and you will still look like you aren't using a proxy.


How a Proxy Works: 
A proxy works by sending your request to a server and then to a website. When the website returns information it sends it to the server and in return sends it to you. Basically acting like a middle man.
Downside: Using a proxy slows down your internet speed a little.

How to Check If a Proxy is Working:
The simplest way of doing this is by using a proxy checker.
